If anyone has any ideas for this project, please post a reply. Thanks
A. What is the name of this? Possible names are:
-Spellz Warz
-Magician Duelling
-Wizard/Witch Duelling
-Spellz Race
-Magician War
B. I need as many different original spell names and purposes as possible. They all must have a rating from 1 to 10 for strength. A shield spell of strength 3 can block all opposing spells of strength 3 and lower.
C. Objectives. How many? Would this be better to be mini-games, or something else?
Possible objectives:
1. Simple duelling. Last magician "standing" in the arena wins.
2. Race to a certain location, or a series of locations (checkpoints). Duel to slow others down.
3. Construction. Be the first to successfully construct __ with whatever specifications. If you don't conceal your whatever, it may be sabotaged by others!
4. Gather all items. That means 100%, so if someone else has an object, to win you must steal it from them 1 way or another.
5. Gather the most items. See #4, but you don't need to steal to win (doesn't mean you can't)
6. A scavenger hunt: gather a variety of items. Be the first to gather say 1 block, 1 sphere, 1 orb, etc. Again, stealing is permitted via spells.
7. Protection: protect a castle, building, or whatever it is from oncomers (like zombies, but perhaps smarter and/or more difficult to get rid of — they may have simple magic!) The more oncomers you get rid of (using 1 of many methods, I'm sure), the more points you get.
8. Teamed duelling. Same as #1, but it's the last team standing.
9. Teamed protection. #7, but instead of against robots or whatever they might be, it's once again against each other. If you blast a certain object, or meet a certain condition, your team wins.
10. Puzzle based. Using various spells/charms, you must go through various puzzles such as mazes and many other things we can dream up.
Variation of #1: RPG based. Like a mix of #10 and #1. You can go into buildings, find books that will contain a spell or two, etc. There could be puzzles to solve as well.
Shall we use one, or, all of the above (as in minigames) for this?
Also, if you wish to join this project, please say so in this forum.
